Costa Rica Zip Line Tour Adventure

Our Costa Rica Zip Line Tour is located in playa Herradura next to Jaco on the central pacific coast of Costa Rica and offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the Pacific Ocean. Our Herradura zip line tour is set on approximately 222 acres of land and 50% of this is transitional forest which is a mixture of the dry forest of the north pacific and the rain forest of the south pacific.

The Vista Los Suenos zip line tour is a very contemporary tour; it was designed by Costa Rican tour guides that have more than 8 years of experience in conducting Zip Line Tours in Costa Rica.

The main idea for our Herradura Zip Line Tour was to give our clients the adventure of their life, so we made some of the longest cable runs in the central pacific area while maintaining safety as our number one priority. Thousands of vacationing families and friends have visited our tropical canopy adventure with shrieks of laughter and big smiles. Please join us during your Costa Rican vacation for your own personal zipline thrill of a lifetime!

Safety Standars

The most important part of safety is the communication between guide and customer. For this reason, our guides are 100% bilingual and have full credentials from the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT), which certifies them as Canopy Tour Guides.

Vista Los Suenos Zip Line Tour is the first company in Costa Rica to implement an emergency break system on all fast cables. This system allows the guide to have control at all times, taking command of the cable as the client nears the platform. So whether you’re coming in really fast or spinning uncontrollably, we can always stop you! This system is particularly good when it’s raining.

Our equipment is 100% certified for adventure tours, and we use some of the best brands in the business, such as: Petzl, Black Diamond, Blue Water and Sterling! Also, we vigorously follow the manufacturer directions and care for the equipment on a day-to-day basis, as well as maintaining daily tabs to control the use of the equipment.

The main cables are ½ “, which exceed the Costa Rica standard of 3/8”. Our platforms are an average of 7x7 feet in diameter and can handle more than 15 people at once.

Our guides receive a minimum of 3 months training before they can work alone with clients. This training consists of safety and operations of the Canopy, first aid and customer service. Our training program is in addition to the official government courses designed for Zip Line Tours.

Every client gets a full explanation of what to do before starting on the first cable. From beginning to end, you will be attached from your personal harness to a cable at all times.

This Herradura Zip Line Tour tour will not begin if the guides think there is danger, such as wind, rain or lightning. They have the authority to cancel the tour at any time if they deem necessary.

Clients with medical conditions or those who are in excess of 260 pounds, will not be allowed on the tour.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Within a relatively small corner of Costa Rica, tourists can find the excitement and adventure of a vacation in the Costa Rica tropical forest, surrounded by one of the countrys most beautiful natural environments, without sacrificing life is modern conveniences. There is a magic to Manuel Antonio National Park that is hard to explain. One thing, however, is absolutely certain: once you have been here you will want to come back again.

Manuel Antonio National Park, with its 1700 acres of land mass and 135,906 acres of marine reserve, is the smallest of the 20 national parks Costa Rica has put aside for total protection. Even so, it is the countrys second most visited conservation area, after the Poas Volcano located in Alajuela.

Last year alone, 143,520 tourists visited Manuel Antonio National Park. Conservation officials have fixed the parks carrying capacity at 600 people per day from Tuesdays to Fridays, and 800 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. On Mondays Manuel Antonio National Park is closed to the public. If there are already 600 visitors at 10 a.m., we close it right then..., said Javier Herrera, in charge of environmental education at the park, which is usually open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Located 100 miles south of San Jose (a pleasant three-hour drive, or a short 20 minutes by plane), Manuel Antonio Quepos, which was declared a national park in 1972, is the natural habitat of species such as the endangered squirrel monkey (endemic to the area), white faced capuchin monkey, raccoons, three and two-toed sloths, white-nosed coaties, brown pelicans, black-collared hawks and green kingfishers. They share the space with primary and secondary forests, bursting with cedars, bully trees, locust sur, black locusts and silk cotton trees. A mangrove swamp covers about 44.5 acres, adding to the biodiversity of the region. Three different species: red mangrove, buttonwood mangrove and white mangrove - around.

This park is just south of Quepos on the Costa Rica Pacific Coast, 132 km from San José. Perhaps It is so popular because of its expensive white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. The principal habitants are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation. There is quite a varied fauna with 109 species of mammals and 184 of birds.

Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. Manuel Antonio beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest, and the snorkeling is excellent too. The forest is home for sloths, iguanas, the rare and adorable squirrel monkeys and millions of colorful little crabs.

Carara National Park

Carara National Park is a National Park in the Central Pacific Conservation Area located near the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Carara lies about 30 miles west of the Costa Rican capital of San José and about 15 miles north of the beach town of Jaco. The park protects the river basin of the River Tárcoles, near Orotina and includes one of the largest remaining populations of wild Scarlet Macaw in the country.

Carara National Park contains more primary rainforest than the relatively close Manuel Antonio National Park. As such, it is wetter than the more popular Manuel Antonio National Park, and has denser tree growth and more mosquitoes and other insects.

The dense tree growth makes Carara a haven for many bird species, and the park is a popular birdwatching destination. In addition to Scarlet Macaws, birds found in Carara include orange-chinned parakeets and other parrots, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, motmots, jacamars, manakins, antbirds, and several species of trogon, including the black-throated trogon. Several species of water birds inhabit the park as well. These include the anhinga, several species of heron, several species of egret and kingfishers.

Among the reptiles present in the park are the American crocodile and several snake and lizard species. Green and black poison arrow frogs are among the amphibians present. Mammals include white-tailed deer, red brockets, collared peccaries, agouti, kinkajous, white-faced capuchin monkeys, mantled howler monkeys, Hoffmann's two-toed sloths and brown-throated three-toed sloths. However, mammals can be difficult to see due to the dense tree cover.
