Learn about the step by step coffee harvesting process from a traditional Costa Rican family that has been in the coffee business for over 70 years! These coffee pioneers are located in the Alajuela Province and will teach you about coffee production, starting from the seedbed all the way to the roasting and pouring!
On the Doka Coffee Tour, visitors will learn about how the various microclimates and landscape changes affect coffee production. Learn about the production, harvesting, processing and roasting of the grain! Visit the oldest humid coffee processing plant, declared an Architectural Heritage for Humanity Site in 2003. Try some Costa Rican coffee and purchase some bags to take home to your loved ones!
